The IOCrest SI-ADA15069 is a versatile device that allows you to expand your embedded computer's capabilities by adding 2 RS-232 serial ports. This can be done through a convenient M 2 slot, making it compatible with a wide range of applications such as serial attached devices, serial networking/monitoring equipment, data acquisition systems, POS terminals, industrial PC add-on I/O cards, and embedded systems for I/O expansion.

The device supports 32-bit data read/write operation with a global interrupt status register for both UARTs. It also features 16 multi-purpose inputs/outputs (MPIOs) for added flexibility.

With two independent UART channels, the device offers precise control over bits per second data transfer rates, ranging from 300 baud to 921600baud. It is compatible with the 16550 register set and features 256-Byte TX and RX fifos for efficient data transmission.

The RS232 ports on the device include DCD, RXD, TXD, DTR, GND, DSR, RTS, CTS, and RI. Users can choose from different configurations for data bits (4, 5, 6, 7, 8), stop bits (1, 1.5, 2), parity bit (Odd, Even, Mark, Space), and flow control (None, Xon/Xoff).
